SYEP - An abbreviation for Summer Youth Employment Program usually used in conjunction with a US Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funded Dept of Labor program.#SYEP first made the jump to social media by David Hoffman in early 2009 during the DC SYEP in a 'social media' summer jobs project he created to help teenagers engage in meaningful work projects.
