In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (otherwise known as the LDS or Mormon Church) a group of congregations are organized into a Stake. All of the members of the LDS Church on twitter that wish to identify themselves can use this hashtag to be a part of the "Twitter Stake" though they may be in different congregations around the world.
