#videoresume tag was created by David Hoffman Agency in 2009 as a tool to help employers rapidly screen and interview potential job candidates. Hoffman wanted to speed up the hiring process in the nation's capital and suggested to employers that he would email a video or youtube link of the candidates he thought would be a great fit for the employers' work environments.
