A medium sized town in Surrey about 20 miles from London and 6 miles from Guildford. Mainly famous for HG Wells (war of the worlds) andthd McLaren Formula1 factory. It was also awarded cycling town status which led to many infrastructure improvements, including several miles of resurfacing along the Basingstoke Canal the passes through the middle of the town.
