#portal

Top Voted Definition for #portal

A portal is "hole" with a vortex of either orange or blue light coming from around the edges. One can be shot at a wall or object large enough to hold it. Shooting a blue and orange will open a "doorway" that will provide instantaneous travel between the two. Momentum is carried through Portals, so, speedy thing goes in, speedy thing goes out. Portals were created by Aperture Labs circa 1950s.
